Our DONJOY Performance Trizone Calf Sleeve is a hybrid design combining the properties of compression and bracing in a single sleeve. This product takes the benefits of bracing and applies it to a muscle. The carbonized bamboo circular knit construction allows for targeted, zonal compression. Three distinct compression zones which include: a stability zone with strategically placed injected silicone to provide support for the calf muscle and the benefit of enhanced proprioception, a compression zone which improves circulation and provides mild support to the joint structure and surrounding muscle tissue, and a comfort zone that provides lighter compression for enhanced fit and better range of motion. The Trizone calf support is a low profile performance product perfect for runners.

- I was recently diagnosed with a fascial herniation on my left leg about mid-way down on the outside of the leg. I was prescribed a compression sock that covers the foot and up my calf. I was told commercial compression would probably be better than what would be provided by the prescription. Would this provide adequate compression?
- I would suggest the Dr. Comfort Calf Sleeve. It is a graduated compression sleeve that will work better than the Trizone.

- Would the calf sleeve put enough pressure on the muscle to hold pressure against shin splints/ stress fractures?
I know that it will not fix the stress fracture or shin splint but I want to know would this have enough pressure on the calf muscle? - The Trizone will apply even compression on the calf. For shin splints or stress reaction to the front of the leg try the Proform Shin splint Sleeve

- I'm a hiker/backpacker/mountaineer. I wear hinged knee braces when I'm active. The calf supports seem like they would be helpful as well. My question is in regards to the sizing. Do I need to take into account material stretching over time (meaning, buy a size smaller) or do the supports hold their form?
- Joe
I would go by the size chart, this material most likely will keep its shape and size
