DonJoy Advantage Stabilizing Elastic Wrist

Our DONJOY Performance Trizone Calf Sleeve is a hybrid design combining the properties of compression and bracing in a single sleeve. This product takes the benefits of bracing and applies it to a muscle. The carbonized bamboo circular knit construction allows for targeted, zonal compression. Three distinct compression zones which include: a stability zone with strategically placed injected silicone to provide support for the calf muscle and the benefit of enhanced proprioception, a compression zone which improves circulation and provides mild support to the joint structure and surrounding muscle tissue, and a comfort zone that provides lighter compression for enhanced fit and better range of motion. The Trizone calf support is a low profile performance product perfect for runners.

    • Sounds like you may need something that will pprovide compression to the calves. The Trizone Calf sleeve will provide for you as well as the Dr. Comfort Calf Sleeve.

    • I was recently diagnosed with a fascial herniation on my left leg about mid-way down on the outside of the leg. I was prescribed a compression sock that covers the foot and up my calf. I was told commercial compression would probably be better than what would be provided by the prescription. Would this provide adequate compression?
    • I would suggest the Dr. Comfort Calf Sleeve. It is a graduated compression sleeve that will work better than the Trizone.

    • Would the calf sleeve put enough pressure on the muscle to hold pressure against shin splints/ stress fractures?

I know that it will not fix the stress fracture or shin splint but I want to know would this have enough pressure on the calf muscle?
    • The Trizone will apply even compression on the calf. For shin splints or stress reaction to the front of the leg try the Proform Shin splint Sleeve

  • Joe at 11/15/2015 10:44 AM
    • I'm a hiker/backpacker/mountaineer. I wear hinged knee braces when I'm active. The calf supports seem like they would be helpful as well. My question is in regards to the sizing. Do I need to take into account material stretching over time (meaning, buy a size smaller) or do the supports hold their form?
    • Joe
I would go by the size chart, this material most likely will keep its shape and size
  • Larry at 11/11/2015 6:58 AM
    • Are the supports sold singularly or in pairs?
    • Larry
The support is sold as a single support
  • Sl Jordan at 11/1/2015 8:02 AM
    • Does the Trizone calf support work for pressure in the calf to relieve sciatica?
    • The Trizone calf support will provide compression to the calf. and specifically compression and support to the gastoc muscle

    Nice compression and support

    Reviewed by:
While rehabbing my ankle, I needed to keep the accessory muscles in my calf and shin supported. Typically, I would use kinesiotape and a calf sleeve, but the silicone bands in the Trizone sleeve offer the same amount of support. The compression is on the lighter side, but that's not a negative. The sleeve stays in place well through all kinds of activities including running without needing to keep pulling it up.

Overall, the biggest plus is that the silicone banding ends up saving me money due to not needing to place kinesiology tape under the sleeve.

I tore my calf muscles doing kick boxing and this brace helped me get back out! I called and talked to a sales rep, very helpful.. ordered and received them within two days. Even my kick boxing instructors and chiropractor who is doing soft tissue massage on my calves checked out the brace and were impressed.
Pros: Great customer service (actually get to talk to a person), fast delivery and great product. Very happy my friend (who got her knee brace from them) referred me to them.
Cons: Absolutely NO cons, great company, experience and product all around.

you get what you pay for

I have had DonJoy products for years which always seem to outperform other labels I get. Quite simply, they fit snugly to keep pressure on my poor calves and helps with my knees. I use it when I'm walking any type of distance, which is anything more than a city block or two. Down the road I can see myself getting another (spare) pair of these, and would not hesitate in the least of trying any other product in this line.
Pros: Comfortable for long wearing. Stays in place controls and help eleviate my soreness Good for the price
Cons: The only con I have, but that might also be from some swelling & weight gain, is taking off the support. Tends to want to stay where it is: good for walking, etc., not so much for trying to take it off. LOL

    Helped my son tremendously

My son was injured playing soccer and ended up with a bruised muscle. After almost 6 months of it not getting better I decided to try this brace. It helped him the first day he wore it in practice. He could run without pain and his lower leg did not swell and turn blue. We definitely recommend the trizone calf support brace.
Pros: Great support. Fits exactly with sizing chart. Doesn't itch like other braces tried. Easy to clean.
Cons: Difficult for my 9 year old to get off and on by his self, but the benefits of the brace out weigh this 100%.
