Easy-to-use Compression Technology

Designed with patient need and comfort in mind, the DonJoy Back Brace provides compression and support for the back. The unique Lace Design, utilizing a patent-pending tear drop channel, works with the posterior compression panels to provide a smooth, uniform pull. By simply pulling the side handle, the patient may quickly tighten or loosen the compressive forces as they see fit to accommodate for activity, various clothing types or weight fluctuation.

Features:

  • Easy-to-use compression technology.
  • Simple hook-loop velcro panel closure system.
  • Proprietary compression panels allow for a smooth, uniform pull.
  • Rigid, heat-moldable contoured anterior panel and liner for increased abdominal compression and rigidity to reduce loads on the intervertebral discs.
  • Pull handle allows for a quick closure that can be adjusted according to patient need.
  • Soft, breathable, interior spacer fabric with outer mesh allows heat to escape without compromising stability.
  • Lightweight and low profile.
  • Lite Version available - does not have an anterior panel and is made out of slightly less durable material.
  • Lifetime Guarantee on the proprietary compression panels.

Product Questions

does this product 'ride' up your back or will it stay in place?
Question by: mikki on May 29, 2010, 11:52 AM
The DonJoy Back Brace should not ride up or move around while wearing it. The compression straps will help keep the brace in position.

I have a herniated disc in my back (L5 S1) that has left me with pins and needles and numbness in my right foot. I'm a 72 year old golfer and wonder which one of your products, if any, you'd recommend, and would it have any effect on my foot. I've had this problem for a year. Thank you.
Question by: Bob on Jan 4, 2016, 6:49 PM
Wearing a back brace will force you to stay into a neutral position which may help alleviate some of the problems you are having with the Herniated disk. The best support will be the EXOS FORM 626 https://www.donjoystore.com/exos-form-626-spine-bracing-system

I want to play golf again but I suffer spondylitis on L4 and L5. Will this brace help to stabilize this so I can play again?
Question by: David on Apr 30, 2016, 1:22 PM
The only back brace that will allow you to play golf and provide some light support to the back is the Sunders S'port All Back Support w/Shorts. It is a elastic back support attached to shorts so that the back support will not rise up on your body while moving

i have disk herniations in L4/L5 and I was wondering if you recommended the Don Joy Back brace Lite or Regular? What is the difference between the two?
Question by: Misha on Jan 16, 2015, 3:59 PM
Misha
The Don Joy Back Brace would be a good option for you. The difference between the Regular and the lite is the height of the belt. The Regular is 10 inches and the Lite is 9 inches and does not come with an anterior panel
Answer by: Admin on Jan 16, 2015, 3:59 PM
1. The Don Joy Back Brace appears to come in 3 versions--Regular (10"), Lite (9") and Low Profile (8"). Is that correct? I deduced this from the discussions above.

2. Are there any pictures of the front of this brace?
Question by: Bob on Jan 20, 2015, 9:42 PM
There are three versions, we unfortunatlydo not have picture of the front of the brace. The Regular and the Low Profile have an anterior panel in the front of the brace that attaches to the belt. the Lite does not come with this panel.
