    • I need a new liner and the options ask me to choose between an FP and a SP what are the differences?
Also, my foot is 8.5 and very narrow, my foot "swims" in the boot suggestions for new size or other options? I don't know if I could wear a small but its probably no more narrow correct?
    • To select the correct liner for your Aircast boot, look at the back of the heel of the boot for the sticker stating the SKU#. 01A is for the SP (shorter) boot, and 01F iis for the FP (taller) boot. The next letter in the SKU# reference the size, S for Small, M for Medium ect. The boots are all designed to accommodate wide and narrow feet. The size of the boot is determined by your shoe size. If you have a more narrow foot, you may just need to increase the amount of air in the Aircells of the boot. Going with a boot smaller than your shoe size could cause your toes to be too far forward in the boot and compromise support and protection.

    • I have an Aircast Airselect SP, will this replacement liner work with it?
    • Yes you can choose the SP option

    • Hi. I'm from Malaysia. Am planning to buy n use the Aircast Walker (FP). Fractured my right ankle 6 weeks ago. Now, my doc has taken me off the cast but it is still painful tp walk without support. I searched online n I found yr site. I used size 9. Am wondering whether Asian size is the same as the size in yr listed measurement for the Walker. What do you recommend? Difficult to get one in Malaysia?
    • That would be a medium
  • Deb at 11/7/2015 10:46 PM
    • I have a Aircast standard, small, liner says DJO. It's about 15 inches high. I'm not sure which type of liner to order. I want to order 2 liners.
The FP walker is the tall walker and would have a liner that long
  • Jeff at 11/7/2015 10:37 AM
    • I have a large Aircast Walker, and am looking for a replacement front plastic overlay (the thin piece running over the front of the boot, and under the velcro closures). I can't find the part by itself. is is part of the replacement liner. If not, how can I get a replacement part?
    • Jeff
That part can be ordered by calling DJO Direct at 800-336-6569
  • mike s. at 8/21/2015 8:31 AM
    • Is the liner replacement for the FP in pairs or individual?
    • Mike that is a single liner
  • Anne at 9/19/2014 3:18 PM
    • I have an XP boot (medium) and the foot cushion is filthy after so much use, I see the XP replacement liner is not available.Any suggestions for substitution?
    • Anne
You can wash the insole with soap and water. The insole of the XP walker is the same as the FP and SP which can be purchased with the liner for those walkers, although the liner will not work in your boot.
  • Martin at 9/14/2014 5:12 PM
    • I have the air select standard. I messed up the liner washing it. some of the Velcro holding it together split, and the grey fabric over the foam is peeling off. Can I use FP liner in the air select standard. The elite is definitely different.
    • The Air Select liner is a lighterweight, more breathable material. You can use the FP liner, but it will be a heavier non-breathable material. Please always hand wash the liner with mild detergent and allow to air dry.

    • What is the correct replacement liner w/insole that I should order for the Aircast AisSelect Short Walking Boot, size medium?

      Thank you!
    • Thank you for your question. The product you are looking for is not offered on betterbraces.com. you need to call customer service and order direct 800-336-6569.

    • I have the Aircast AirSelect Short Walking Boot, will the SP Walker Liner fit or is there a different product I should order for a replacment liner?
    • While both boots are the short versions, the liner for the Air Select Short is taller so the SP liner will be too short for the shell of the Air Select
  • Karen at 3/30/2014 1:03 PM
    • The insole in my aircast keeps slipping forward. I am constantly having to remove it and place it back at the heel, but it keeps slipping forward. Is there anything I can do to keep it in place? Thank you.
    • Karen
Make sure that you deflaing your boot before taking it off. If you do not let the air out before taking it off then try to get you heel inot the back of the boot the aircells will not let you get it all the way back causing your foot to move forward and pulling the insole with it.

    • Hello. I have an aircast with old lining. I saw that the new aircasts have an updated version of the lining. If I buy this product, will it be the old or the updated lining of the boot? The boot I have now is from 2011.
    • Hello, Olivia -

If you call our customer care representatives at 800-336-6569, they can assist you in ordering the correct liner for the boot. You will not get the liner for the new boot, you will get the one for your appropriate walker.

Thank you and have a wonderful day!

    • I have a size small Air Cast FP Walker. The inner liner part that has the velcro on it is just about an inch too small so I am struggling to velcro the pieces together around the top part of my calf. Will a medium foam liner fit into a small FP Walker and be larger making it easier for me to velcro the two sides together?
    • Yes a medium foam liner will fit into a small FP walker. Just call Customer Care to book your order at 800-553-6019.

    • I wear a size 10 shoe; which boot should I buy, medium or large? I'm 5'10" and weigh 210 lbs.
    • Hello,

If you wear sizes 9 or 9.5-10 go medium. If you wear sizes 10-10.5 or 11 go large.
  • Erica at 10/12/2010 11:16 AM
    • I need to replace the liner and foam of my Aircast. How do I find what size Aircast boot I have?
    • There is a sticker on the heel of the boot that has the SKU# on it. If the sticker is no longer on the boot, you can determine the correct size by following the size chart below:

Size Men Shoe Size Women Shoe Size
Pediatric Up to 4 Up to 5
      Small 4-7 5-8
      Medium 7-10 8-11

I had to wear my brace for another 2 months and was so glad I was able to replace the lining! It made me feel better knowing I had a new one!
Pros: It felt like the brace did when I first got it. The lining was not stretched from daily wear.
    Cons: There were no cons!

I needed a second foam liner for my Aircast boot so that I could go into a swimming pool with my grandkids and then have a dry liner afterwards. This is exactly like my original and fit perfectly, so instead of sitting and watching my grandkids, I could participate with them.
Pros: Just like the original and fit perfectly

The liner fit perfectly and cost was very affordable. I was in my boot for approximately a month before I needed to replace the liner. I contacted Better Braces and they made the process easy. Since then, I've purchased two additional liners.
    Pros: Easy to install
Cons: Installation method is not secure. The method used to secure the liner will tare the material.
