    • My airheel aircast heel bladder seems to have lost some of it's air, is this common? I have been wearing it for about 3 weeks.

I would suggest the medium brace

    • I have extreme pain around the top of my left foot -- and in between my ankle. I am not able to put any pressure down on my left foot to push off of my toes without severe pain. Any recommendations?
    • Parris
A walking boot may decrease a little pain so that you may be able to put some pressure on the foot.

  • Dan at 6/18/2014 10:40 AM
    • I wear a mens 8.5 would a medium work, and also can I walk around in this with my sprained foot?
    • Dan
Yes the medium is the correct size and you can wear the Airheel and walk in it. The night splint should be worn at night
  • Randy at 10/28/2013 5:43 AM
    • How much "walking-in" would be acceptable with the night brace? Minimal or none?
    • Randy,
The night brace is designed to be worn in bed. It will not give you the mobility needed to walk around. You will adjust the dorsiflexion strap for a custom stretch which will make it difficult to walk in. Thank you for your question and think you for contacting DJO.

    • PF is in my both feet but it seems that in this kit has only one foot product...??? How about second foot????
    • Most people have plantar fasciitis in only one foot, if you have it in both you would have to buy two kits.

    • My son is 11. His sneaker size is 5 and he weighs about 80 lbs. Is the small appropriate.
    • Yes the small would be appropriate.
  • George Barnard at 11/10/2011 7:47 AM
    • A niece of mine had a large size and loaned it to me but the strap that goes around my leg isn't long enough because of my swollen legs. Do you make an extender for the strap?
    • We do not offer a strap extender.

This brace has taken care of my heel pain. I am once again able to take walks with my dog without my heel hurting afterward. Brace is very light and I am able to wear it with my orthotics. Thanks for a great product.

I have had plantar fasciitis for over a year and since nothing else worked thought I'd give this a try. The day brace is okay, comfortable to wear most of the day. The night brace is hard to get use to (haven't made it past 2 am yet) The heel area rubs and causes a burning sensation - I found wearing a soft sock helps some. If dorsiflexion strap is too tight it causes pain in forefoot. I found wearing it loose provides some stretch and is more comfortable. On a scale of 1-10 morning pain I've gone from 12 to 4 - that is something
Cons: night splint hard to get use too uncomfortable

    Deflated pillows after 3 weeks

I picked up a pair of the aircasts for daytime use, and they do help my feet some. I started noticing less air in the bottom pocket and after washing it, noticed there's no air in the upper pockets either. The only information I received from my doctor was the multi language pamphlet with care instructions.

I've used these for years, after a bout of plantar fasciitis, and they have given me the support that I needed. I haven't had a problem since that one incident and wear them on both feet when playing tennis.

I have 3 very arthritic bones in my foot. When I step down while walking I get a sharp pain. The air pocket beneath my foot takes most of the pain away.
Pros: Easy to put on your foot.
