- What is the proper procedure for cleaning this brace? Is it machine washable? Dryer? Hand wash? Air dry? etc......
Thank you.
- Hello, Nancy -
We recommend washing the brace by hand using anti-bacterial soap and water then air drying. We do not recommend putting it in the washing machine or dryer as some of the materials may be compromised or damaged.
Thank you and have a nice day!

- The doctor just put my wife in an A2 wrist brace and we are looking for spares. Are they available in any other color than black? Her skin tone is quite pale (Irish) and she's over-conscious of her appearance.
Thanks.

You may want to look at the Aircast StabilAir Wrist Brace if color is a concern.

- If I have a wrist strain, afflicting my movement side to side rather than up and down, and I need to have a brace that can go in the ocean, what would you suggest?
- Hello,
Your questions really depends on what you are doing in the ocean. If you plan on being active (Surfing) you'll need a DonJoy CXT & SXT Functional Wrist Brace to limit the motion effectivley.
https://www.betterbraces.com/all-sport-dynamics-imcs-wrist-sport
If you plan on being less active, a DonJoy ComfortFORM Wrist Support will suffice.

Remember, you'll need to rinse the brace in fresh water after immersion.

awesome
these wrist braces have eased all of my carpal tunnel symptoms and they are very comfortable to wearcomfortable brace
Have used braces for last 8 years for carpel tunnel. Prior braces all caused irritation from the velcro band, where it crossed the opening. This brace has a light cloth liner that covers that opening, which prevents the velcro straps from cutting into my skin. Great move.Pros: very comfortable, good support, green guard keeps velcro band from irritating skin.Cons: With big hands, that green liner makes it a little snug to get over my hand, but still no problem.Share Your Usage: Daily Use
Great brace!
Injured my wrist (ulnar side) and needed a brace to limit rotation and ulnar lateral flexion. This brace is great-- light weight, relatively breathable and much lower profile than expected. I wasn't sure about the aqua color accents so I covered the logo with a black Sharpie and cut the aqua fabric out. :)This brace is a life changer
I was coming home from work shaking with pain. This cast alleviated most of the pain, enabled me to sleep comfortably, and continue to work.Perfect brace for me.
Firm, solid, stable, light, well constructed, easy to use, and extremely comfortable. Allows adequate movement and flexibility of my fingers. Medium fits me perfectly, with the two supporting bars exactly centered on my wrist and arm. Excellent brace for me.Pros: All of the above.Cons: Would ask for a bit more finger clearance.Share Your Usage: Recovering from Injury, Occasional Use, Chronic Instability
It's OK
The part that touches the knuckles can cause skin blister, therefore, this product needs improvement and redesigning.Pros: It seems to restrict/support wrist movement and as a result, less pain noted on my tenosynovitis.Cons: Rough edge where it touches the knuckles.Share Your Usage: Recently Injured, Daily Use
Hi Evelyn, thank you for your feedback. You can try a wrist undersleeve to help prevent chafing: https://www.betterbraces.com/exos-wrist-undersleeve Please contact customer service if you have any questions, thank you.12 Jun, 2017metal piece not sized correctly
Metal piece is too large for its pocket and quickly makes holes and protrudesPros: rigid strong supportCons: falls apart quicklyShare Your Usage: Chronic Instability, Daily Use
real nice brace
My moderate carpal tunnel went from moderate to severe and I needed better wrist braces. Why I didn't come back to Better Braces in the 1st place is beyond me!!!Pros: Perfect comfort and hand is not sweating in these bracesCons: Not much of a con, but the velcro is so damn strong, it can be difficult to removeShare Your Usage: Recently Injured, Daily Use, Recovering from Injury
Amazing
This brace is amazing! It's the best fitting wrist brace I have ever used! I love that it's got an adjustable strap that goes around the thumb and that the middle strap secures in several places.Pros: Amazing fit! Adjustable straps all around!Share Your Usage: Preventing Injury, Occasional Use, Recovering from Injury
