    • I had polio as a kid it was light now my right foot turns out and my right knee should be replaced ( it has no cartilage } I am only 63 and the knee is weak. I am thinking ankle brace first to keep my foot in line. what would be best for that?
    • Bert
I would suggest something with at least moderate support. The Aircast AirSport is a great supportive brace. http://www.betterbraces.com/aircast-airsport-ankle-brace The brace slides on your foot and has two uprights on the sides of the brace plus a strap too wrap around that will further increase support to the ankle

    • I am trying to put off peroneal tendon surgery until the fall. Is that is good brace to use to keep my ankle stable but still allow me to do daily activities? Also, can this be used in conjunction with some sort of compression sleeve to keep any swelling down?
    • Beth
Yes that brace will allow you to have ankle support and still do daily acitivities

    • Can I wear safety shoe on top of the procare ankle support which model would best suit me for my problem of frequent ankle twist problem
    • These braces can be worn with shoes as long as the shoe can be loosened enough to get the stirrups in
  • Jim at 2/14/2014 8:42 AM
    • I need advice on how to place the unit on my foot. Do the vertical supports go all the way to the bottom of my foot?
    • Thank you for your question. The outter shells will extend to the bottom of your foot. A PDF of the instructions has been sent to your email. Please feel free to call us if you have any further questions. Thank you for contacting DJO.

    • I got one of these, and it's working great! The only problem is; it's getting that ankle smell after two weeks... what is the best way to clean it?
    • All of our products are recommended to wear a sock between the brace and the ankle. You can hand wash with a mild detergent, rinse with tap water and allow to air dry
  • Joanna at 5/6/2013 11:02 PM
    • The circumference of my leg just above my ankle bone is 9 in, and I'm a size 8.5 (womens). Would the medium (9 in) brace fit me? (I read a review on amazon saying that the size was too big)

      Thank you!

      Joanna
    • Hi Joanna,
Yes, the medium Procare Surround FLOAM Ankle Support should fit. The sizing is referring to the height of the support.
      Have a great day!
