- I'm looking for knee support for hiking downhill. My knee(right) feels unstable going downhill. I will get swelling and pain on the outside of my knee and generalized "stiffness" in the joint after a day of hiking . Years ago when I was a competitive runner I was told that I had malaligned kneecaps. After a day or two of rest and icing the knee tends to get better. Do you recommend this product?
