ProCare MaxTrax Air Walker reviews

I had ankle replacement surgery on 11/27/13. After 2 weeks in a splint and 4 weeks in a cast I was given a Max Trax to wear. The Max Trax has been wonderful. It is without a doubt the very best brace I have ever used. My doctor has me wearing it 24/7. I only take it off for cleansing and therapy. I sleep better with it on because it protects my ankle. Whoever designed and built it is a genius! - Dave

    • I have just been put in a Maxtrax walker size ladies medium.
Mu shoe size is a 5.5......isn't this way too big?
My toes are about 3-4 inches back from the end of the seems so big and clunky and looks like it is the wrong size compared to what these on this site look like.
(it was the assistant that said this was the right size. But..I think this is too is way to sloppy feeling and actually too heavy to lift.
Thank you...will be waiting your advice.
    • Size 4.5-6 in women would be a small in the Max Trax walker.

    • i have a boot, tag says size small, that i was given for the first foot fracture. i'm currently on my third foot fracture (in 4 years) and using the same boot. velcro's about shot, and there's a tear in the fabric near the top. My shoe size is ladies 9, and according to the chart that's a medium. My toes extend about like the picture on this website. Should i buy the medium or another small?
    • Hello, Loey -

A ladies size 9 would fall within our size MEDIUM parameters.

Thank you and have a great day!
