- I was wondering if you are still able to walk or do you need crutches?
- Whether or not you should be using crutches or not is a question your doctor can answer based on their treatment and rehabilitation protocol for your knee injury. However, this brace can be worn with or without crutches.

- What are the straight stays? What would be the difference of including them or excluding them when purchasing, besides the $10 additional charge to include them?
- The straight stays are aluminum uprights that keep the knee stable on each side of the joint. It is to add protection to the knee. There is no upcharge for having the straight stays because it comes standard that way.
