Rigid Hinged Knee Braces
Rigid hinged knee braces are ideal for maximum protection for the knee. They guard against ligament tears and other knee injuries. Many rigid hinged knee braces have specially designed hinges situated on each side of the knee to help stabilize the knee joint and to prevent it from moving unnaturally. They also come with straps that hold the knee brace in proper position on your knee. When the thigh bone (femur) and shin bone (tibia) move too far apart from one another, that can over-stretch the ligaments, leading to knee injuries such as ACL tears and meniscus strain. That's exactly what rigid hinged knee braces help prevent. If you participate in sports or have had previous knee injuries, then a rigid hinged knee brace could help provide the extra support and stabilization you need to perform at your highest level.
