My orthopedic surgeon wrote a prescription for a brace, and I bought a custom brace at a specialty store. This brace provides more relief than both of my existing braces. I'm ordering another one because I wear it all day/every day and the elastic lasts a loooooong time but not forever! LOVE this product!!!

Effective relief and protection for tennis elbow

I first bought this two years ago when I experienced tennis elbow from playing tennis. I've worn it since then as a preventative aid; and it has mostly been effective, both in tennis and volleyball.

Over time, the gel pack has flattened (not sure if it has leaked out during manual washing in the sink or just gotten compressed over time; maybe the latter). Bought new ones recently and they work very well.

Good

My doctor recommended this brace for tennis elbow. Although it helped reduce some of the pain in the muscles, I found that it didn't protect my elbow from being accidentally hit on a door edge. That is, if I bumped my elbow, where there is pain already, I would go 'into orbit' with pain! The brace is good to protect the surrounding muscle, but not the elbow itself! However, since I have been wearing this brace for about one year now, I will purchase another. I move it to various places above and below my elbow to see which is the 'better' place to protect the elbow itself!
