The DonJoy Economy Hinged Knee Support provides mild medial/lateral support of the knee. If you have knee joint pain, have experienced an ACL tear or other ligament injury, this orthosis will provide you with a moderate amount of support as well as pain relief. This DonJoy knee brace contains a polycentric hinge with aluminum uprights in its sleeve. They provide light support to your medial/lateral ligaments, in addition to the support already offered by the orthosis's neoprene and strapping.

The Economy Hinged Knee is designed to be worn during active periods or while playing sports. Many employ padding to protect joints and muscle groups. Some provide stability to weak or previously injured zones, such as knee tendonitis and acl tears. Others utilize rigid structures to guard against trauma or jarring motions.

Sizing:

Take the measurement of your thigh and calf 6" above and below your kneecap using a flexible type tape measure. Use the diameter you measure here to choose your size.

	1.Stand with your legs shoulder-width apart, legs slightly bent and leg muscles contracted.
	2. Measure up six inches from the center of your knee with a tape measure, as shown.
	3. Measure the circumference of your thigh at the 6-inch mark, as shown.
	4. Measure down six inches from the center of your knee with a tape measure, as shown. Then measure the circumference of your calf at the 6-inch mark.
