The MaxTrax Ankle Walker is designed with a wider foot bed for comfort and stability. The low profile, rocker bottom helps promote natural gait and reduce plantar pressures. Cushioned inner and outer sole provides shock absorption to help improve patient comfort during ambulation.

The Maxtrax Ankle walker is recommended for use following stress fractures of the lower leg, soft tissue injuries (2nd and 3rd degree sprains), stable fractures and injuries of the foot and ankle, bunionectomies, and metatarsal fractures.

- I'm looking at an item like the DonJoy MaxTrax Ankle Walker.
  Is this item, as well as all the other similar items like this able to be used on either foot? I didn't notice any remarks or comments on the website that stated this.
- Yes, any one of our walking braces can be worn on either foot. They are not Right or Left specific.

- I have a DonJoy MaxTrax Ankle Walker (it appears to be the same model-but is several years old). I am wondering if you have separate liners that I coulds buy so I can have a spare to wash?

- I have a DonJoy MaxTrax Ankle Walker (it appears to be the same model-but it's several years old). I have to wear this boot all the time and I was wondering if you make this boot or a similar boot that would protect the top of my foot in case I get stepped on?
  I've lost over HALF of the bone density in my foot (due to RSD) I can't afford to have a broken foot and laid up in the hospital! I realize it is a soft tissue boot, but I would really like it if I could find something that could protect all the way around.
