Aircast Walking Brace Reviews

Thinking about getting a medical walking boot? Aircast is the leading brand in walking braces. Check out these reviews for the Aircast FP, Aircast SP, and Aircast XP walking boots:

I could move around without pain…

“After a severe ankle sprain I was given a splint at the hospital and purchased some crutches. The splint offered very little support and the crutches made it impossible to do anything. Fortunately the orthopedic doctor I saw for follow up the following week put me in this Aircast boot. What a difference! I could move around when I had to without pain because of the support it gives. The interior airbags allow you to adjust the support level as the swelling of the foot changes, or as needed for comfort. A bit more for walking and a bit less for when relaxing with your foot up. Unless you have someone who can wait on you hand and foot (no pun intended!) get one of these….I HIGHLY recommend the Aircast boot!” – Casey

You can’t put a price tag on comfort…

“I recently broke my foot and was provided a walking cast of sorts from the ER but was unhappy with the weight and feel of it. After much research, I found betterbraces.com and am I glad! I ordered the Aircast FP Walking Brace yesterday and received it this morning. What a huge difference! The comfort and feel is very good! Much better than the brace I was provided by the hospital. I also feel that the cost was very good. You can’t put a price tag on comfort.” – Rich

My foot immediately felt better…

“I have several hairline fractures in my foot that I happened just because of overuse. This boot is fantastic, it is a little heavy, but not compared to an actual cast. My foot immediately felt better, I could actually walk. And what is great is that you can adjust the air to you’re comfort level and what feels good to you, versus a cast that is just there. I highly recommend this boot!” – Hannah

A total life saver… better than being stuck in cast…

“I wore this after I fractured my foot and it was a total life saver. Really surprisingly comfortable. A lot better than being stuck in cast. I now wear an Aircast ankle brace that I really like too. Nice products!” – BethAnn

It sped up my healing time…

“I sprained my ankle and wore one of these for 2 weeks. It sped up my healing time and was extremely comfortable to wear. The compression made the swelling go down a lot faster.”

Why Aircast Walking Boots Are So Popular

Holly B. is an active professional in her late twenties who spends her free time playing recreational flag football and league basketball. She shares her experience with us as she explores the world of sports.

After I started writing for BetterBraces.com, I started paying more attention when I saw people wearing braces and other joint supports. There was one thing I always noticed about medical walking braces.

People are almost always wearing Aircast walking boots.

That prompted me to look into why patients often wear Aircast brand medical walking boots. Here’s what I found:

Aircast walking boots may aid the healing process – Lined with foam-filled aircells, these walking boots massage your ankle as you walk, reducing swelling and edema. The strength of the hard outer shell protects the foot and ankle from further injury. Plus, Aircast walking braces assist patients in getting back to everyday activities sooner, which may help decrease healing time.

Aircast walking boots are easy to use – Compared to many other walking braces, these boots are made from durable, yet lightweight materials to maximize ease of use. They also come with a rocker sole to help relieve pressure off the bottom of the foot.

Aircast walking boots are comfortable – These walking braces are low profile, so you can walk with a normal gait. The same aircells that aid in healing also help cushion and support the foot and ankle area for the best, most natural fit.

If you’re suffering from a foot or ankle injury and need a walking boot, chances are, your doctor will want you in an Aircast walking brace. Speak with your physician to see if these are right for you and your situation, then check out our selection of Aircast walking boots!
