The SP Walker provides semi-pneumatic support with Aircast semi rigid shell protection and is available in 5 sizes (pediatric, small, medium, large and x-large). Foam-filled aircells cushion the ankle for customized comfort and support. This support is effective in fracture healing, managing edema, and post-op protection.
Indications:
- Metatarsal fracture
- Forefoot, midfoot, or hindfoot injury
- Acute or post-operative use
- Bunionectomy
- Soft tissue injur

"Somehow the tendon on my left foot tore. Started with crutches and an Aluminum Splint. Two weeks after the operation one of this was put on by the Doctor. It works much much better than the aluminum splint that was put on at the surgery. Was told to stay off of the foot for another two weeks but it was too tempting and started using it after a week. Expect to be fully ambulatory by next visit."

"Jackie, I had a severely sprained ankle, and found that a taller boot (such as the FP or XP walker) immobilized my ankle better and provided much more comfort. I just submitted an FP Walker review on this site, so you should be able to view that shortly if you are interested. Good luck with your recovery!"

- Does this work for a Avulsion fibula brake of ankle
- We recommend wearing either the Aircast FP or XP Walker for this type injury. The Aircast SP Walker is ideally suited for foot fractures/injuries. The XP or FP Walker's will provide more support and stability for you.

- Can the foam insert be washed and can you buy replacement inserts?
- Yes, you can hand wash the liner with a mild detergent and air dry. For replacement liners follow the link below:
