- How does the Aircast cooler work? Does it plug in to an electric outlet to pump the water?
Do I need a prescription for this? - This Aircast Cryo/Cuff Cooler does not plug into the wall and does not require a prescription. This version uses gravity to transfer cold ice water from the cooler to the pad and back again once the water has warmed up.
There is another version call the Aircast Cryo/Cuff IC that is motorized that uses a pump instead of gravity to push the ice water from the cooler to the pad. This version does require a prescription. - Do you find this question helpful? Yes No
