    • After the ankle has healed should the stirrup brace be worn during athletic activities like volleyball?
    • If you are still experiencing instability while active we recommend you continue to wear the brace while playing any sports or doing any athletic activity. This will protect the ligaments surrounding your ankle and provide added support to help prevent injury.

    • Is the cold pillow for the freezer or refrigerator?
    • The Cold Pack can be used in the freezer.

    • can you freeze the air cast and wear it the next day to ice your ankle?

      The AirCast Ankle Stirrup is composed of duplex aircells so there is no water or gel in the aircell to freeze to provide cold therapy. We do offer cold therapy devices such as the Donjoy Iceman 1100 unit and the Aircast CryoCuff IC which are prescription items. We also off DuraSoft and DuraCold gel ankle wraps to provide cold therapy after putting them in the freezer. Should you have any additional questions please let us know.
